CAE signs New 5-year Agreement With Korea Airports Corporation

Will Provide Commercial Aviation Training Solutions

CAE announced at the 2016 Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium that it has signed a new pilot training agreement with Korea Airports Corporation (KAC), a decision welcomed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of the Republic of Korea. This 5-year contract complements the recently announced sale of the Cessna M2 full-flight simulator (FFS) mentioned in CAE's press release dated July 12, 2016.

This new jet training program highlights CAE's leadership in the delivery of customized training services and its broad range of training solutions, from cadet training to training equipment support services. As part of the agreement, CAE will provide a number of training services to support KAC's new jet training program under which up to 200 cadets will be trained every year. KAC's new jet training program will include ground-school training, as well as aircraft and full-flight simulator training. The future pilots will start training next year at CAE's Korea Training Center at Gimpo airport, Korea.

"We are pleased to partner with the worldwide training leader CAE and we are delighted to build upon this new relationship," said Mr. Lim Gui Sup, KAC Vice President of Business Development. "We are confident that CAE will deliver world-class training services and help us with all of our training needs to address the growing demand of new pilots in Korea."

"We are delighted to see the partnership between KAC and CAE, and we are confident that this new jet training program will be a great success and will contribute greatly to the Korean Aviation industry," said Mr. Chang Man Heui, MOLIT Senior Director of Aviation safety. "We will continue to support this new partnership between KAC and CAE and look forward to our growing relationship with CAE."

"We are honored that KAC has selected CAE as its global training partner of choice to help meet the growing pilot demand in Korea," said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "At CAE, we are committed to delivering customized training solutions that meet our customers' needs, and we are proud to support KAC's new jet program."
