Honors Contributions To International Helo Community
The
Helicopter Association International (HAI) tells ANN the
organization is now accepting nominations for its 2008 "Salute to
Excellence" awards.
Every year, HAI presents 13 "Salute to Excellence: awards
recognizing the outstanding achievement and contributions of
companies and individuals who have advanced the international
helicopter community. All winners will be recognized at the annual
"Salute to Excellence" awards celebration, which will be held
during Heli-Expo 2008 in Houston, TX.
HAI encourages both members and nonmembers to submit a
nomination for any individual or organization. By acknowledging the
exceptional merit of an individual or organization, the celebration
encourages continued achievement and attaining the highest
standards of professionalism in the helicopter industry.
To submit your nomination, contact HAI to have a nominations
booklet mailed to you... or, you may download one on the HAI site,
available at the FMI link below. Nominations may be submitted
through the Web site, or you they may be mailed.
HAI requires all nominees acknowledge in writing that they are
aware of their nomination, and if selected, that they would be
willing to share biographical information and photos with HAI, as
well as accept the award in person at the "Salute to Excellence"
banquet. If the recipient is unable to attend the banquet, they
must designate a person to accept on their behalf. An
acknowledgement form is available in the nominations booklet and
online.
