Coalition Provisional Authority In Iraq Looks To CSI Aviation Services

CSI Chosen To Supply Air Charter Services To US And Iraqi Military

New Mexico-based CSI Aviation Services is one of a select few chosen to provide air transportation in the Middle East for the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) office in Baghdad, Iraq.

CSI will use narrow-body aircraft to move Iraqi police cadets to Amman, Jordan for purposes of training. This award is just another government contract that adds to CSI's federal contracting experience. CSI is already versed in providing air travel services to the military. It currently represents 11 US air carriers to the Department of Defense Air Mobility Command.

"There are a lot of complexities flying in and out of a war zone," said Gretchen Collins, business development director for CSI. "We're an experienced air charter management provider who knows how to work with air carriers in the region, thus making air transportation as safe and efficient as possible for our customers."

The company is a small, veteran-owned business and holds a GSA Schedule to provide air transportation services for purposes of law enforcement and emergency response. CSI has also been a contractor for the Department of Justice, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of the Interior assisting the US Forest Service.

Founded in 1979, privately held Charter Services is the oldest and largest air charter management company of its kind in the United States.
