EASA Qualifies Finnish Aviation Academy DA42 NG FSTDs

Adds To Stable Of Sims That Include Helicopter, Phenom, And King Air Devices

The Finnish Aviation Academy (FinAA), Pori, has received EASA FTD 2 and FNPTII qualification on their two FRASCA built Diamond DA42 NG FSTDs that were delivered earlier this year. The two devices feature Frasca's TruVision Global visual system, Frasca's Graphical Instructor Station (GISt) and many other features.
 

FinAA has a large fleet of FRASCA simulators including the newly qualified DA-42’s, two Phenom FTDs, a King Air FTD and an EC135 Helicopter FTD. Frasca has also delivered Diamond DA40 and DA42 flight training devices to several other flight schools worldwide.
 
“FRASCA has shown their simulation capabilities repeatedly by building training devices for us that simulate the latest technology aircraft and cockpits,” stated Juha Siivonen, Managing Director, Finnish Aviation Academy.
 
“The Finnish Aviation Academy has been a customer of ours for over 25 years.  We are proud to continue to provide them with simulators to meet their exacting  standards ,” stated John FRASCA, President, FRASCA International.
