Propwash Attacked By Terrorist Belgian Cat

Cousin of cat that attacked the pilot of an airline flight pounces on mouse, hits "Send" button umpteen times

Remember the story we ran the other day about a the cat that got loose inside a Belgian airliner and attacked the pilot who tried to retrieve it? As it turns out, that cat has family in the United States, and where else would they live than in the house of the tech that operates our mail servers...

Last night, at around 0200 (oh-dark-hundred for the military types), the cat got loose in the server room and attacked one of the digital rodents attached to one of the computers.

The result? A deluge of Propwash newsletters mailed out to our subscribers. We know it was a deluge because we saw it ourselves in our own mailboxes. All in all, we believe that the victim of the attack spat out as many as a dozen copies of the newsletter to a number of our subscribers.

Well... it was something like that. That's our story and we're sticking to it. But we do wish to apologize to those of you who saw your mailboxes invaded by newsletter after newsletter. This has never happened to us here at ANN, and while we did catch the source of the problem early in the morning on Thursday, the tail end of the beast didn't stop twitching until sometime in mid-afternoon, Eastern Time.
