Man Proposes During Helicopter Flight

Well, Actually It Was Spelled Out By Friends And Family On The Beach

Johnathan Salma and Zuleth Telleria first got together at Huntington Beach, CA, about three years ago. The two returned for a sightseeing flight over the beach about a month ago, and Telleria got a big, and we assume welcome, surprise.

While the two were taking in the views of the beach from the helicopter, the Huffington Post reports that the couple's friends and family were gathering on the beach in an event arranged by the groom-to-be. They gathered seaweed from the ocean and spelled out "Zuleth: Marry me?" in the sand.

Video of the proposal would indicate that Zuleth was taken completely by surprise by the proposal, and didn't quite beleive it until Johnathan presented her with the ring.

She said "yes." The couple had to move the microphones from their headsets out of the way for the engagement kiss.
