Bell Announces Sales To Qiqihar Kun Feng General Aviation Co.

Deal With Chinese Company Includes Firm Order For Two Bell 407GX Aircraft By Chinese Company, LOI For Five 505s

Bell Helicopter has announced the purchase of two Bell 407GX and a letter of intent to purchase five Bell 505 aircraft by Qiqihar Kun Feng General Aviation Co., a subsidiary of Kun Feng Group, a agricultural holding company.

“For many years Qiqihar Kun Feng has utilized leased helicopters in their operations.  We are proud they have chosen Bell helicopters as they build a reliable fleet of self-owned aircraft,” said Chris Jaran, Vice President for Bell Helicopter in China.

Qiqihar Kun Feng is the second of China’s leading agricultural firms to acquire Bell helicopters to be used primarily for crop spraying.

“We are pleased to work with Bell Helicopter’s team in China as we expand our operations,” said, Mr. Zhu Dayong, Managing Director for Qiqihar Kun Feng.  “We look forward to taking ownership of the Bell 407 and 505 aircraft and employing the enhanced capabilities they bring.”
