Memorandum Of Understanding Signed Between Pan Am International Flight Academy, Assumption University Of Thailand

On September 19th, 2013, Assumption University (AU) and Pan Am International Flight Academy (Pan Am) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a world-class flight simulator training center at Assumption's Suvarnabhumi Campus.

Pan Am officials said they are excited to work with the leading University in Thailand on this visionary project. The University's commitment to develop a center for aviation education in Thailand to serve the youth and airlines of the region corresponds with Pan Am's vision for Thailand and Asia. In addition to the University's existing Airbus 320 simulator, Pan Am intends to move three additional full flight simulators to the campus. These simulators will be available for training by the second quarter of 2014.

The programs that AU and Pan Am will cooperate on are:

  • Type Rating Training
  • Cadet Pilot Training with Airline Procedure
  • Cabin Crew Training
