AeroSports Update: Innovators Wanted At Aviation Gateway Park

The EAA AirVenture Aviation Gateway Park Has Something Of Interest For Everyone

EAA tells us that the AirVenture Aviation Gateway Park, a popular destination at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 as it combined technology, innovation, education, and drones, will be bigger and better than ever this year with expanded programs and activities. The 2016 version will offer more ways to engage with aviation ranging from hands-on experiences to career exploration.

In a recent update, EAA says things are shaping up for this year’s Aviation Gateway Park at EAA AirVenture, with many activities and innovative idea-sharing projects underway. They say that although they are near capacity, they are asking for help to take this area to even greater heights!

The question posed by EAA is, do you know of a company with breakthrough concepts in aviation, aerospace, or unmanned flight/UAV technology? If so, they would like to hear about it.

New innovative organizations will be welcomed by both industry heavyweights and unique start-ups already on board, such as DJI, xCraft, WingBoard, NASA, and many others. All are excited to share the future of aviation with AirVenture attendees through exhibits, education, and hands-on demonstrations.

Sponsored by Piper Aircraft, Aviation Gateway Park features an Innovation Center, Drone Center/Drone Cage, and Career Center all designed to highlight the entrepreneurial spirit of AirVenture. “AirVenture has always been the premier event to discover what’s new and innovative in the world of aviation,” said Dave Chaimson, EAA’s vice president of marketing and business development. "At EAA, we love to keep an eye to the future while honoring our past, and we know people are excited to see some of the newest technologies in the aviation arena, including concepts featured in our Founder’s Innovation Prize contest."
