First Embraer Lineage 1000 Delivered To Al Jaber Aviation

Abu Dhabi-Based Company Will Be The Largest Lineage 1000 Operator

Embraer delivered the first Lineage 1000 executive jet to Al Jaber Aviation (AJA) of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, at the end of December, in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The aircraft will begin operations for on-demand charter service in March 2010. AJA will be the largest Lineage 1000  operator, with a fleet of five aircraft.

“We are delighted to hand over the first Lineage 1000 to Al Jaber Aviation, and very proud to be playing a key role in AJA’s fleet expansion,” said Colin Steven, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Europe, the Middle East and Africa – Executive Jets. “We are especially honored by the confidence AJA has placed in our Executive Jets family. The company began operations in June 2009 with our Legacy 600 and is now expanding the fleet with the Lineage 1000.”

Al Jaber Aviation operates two Legacy 600 jets and has firm orders for four additional Lineage 1000s, plus four Legacy 450s and four Legacy 500s. “This is a very exciting time for our company, and we are eager to begin the operation of this wonderful aircraft to support our growing business,” said Dr. Mark Pierotti, Chief Operating Officer of Al Jaber Aviation. “By choosing the Lineage 1000, AJA will be able to offer its elite guests a superior level of service that has not been seen before in this region. We will be delivering new standards of excellence.”
