Another Alert For Passengers And Crews

But This Time, It's The Measles

Passengers and crew members on four commercial flights between Hong Kong, Seattle (WA) and San Francisco (CA) March 26th may have a lingering -- if not dangerous -- memento of their trip: the measles.

It seems Chinese toddlers aboard the flights were infected by the disease.

Now, the Centers for Disease Control is warning anyone who traveled on any of the four flights about the possibility of developing the initial symptoms associated with measles -- namely, fever and rash.

If those symptoms appear by Friday, the CDC wants to know all about it.

The affected flights were:

  • United Airlines Flight 862 from Hong Kong to San Francisco
  • Cathay Pacific Flight CX872 from Hong Kong to San Francisco
  • United Flight 476 from San Francisco to Seattle
  • United Flight 784 from San Francisco to Seattle
