Teal Group Expects Growth In Aircraft Market

Analyst To Forecast 52% Growth By 2020 At Aerospace Alliance Summit

In a full day of special presentations during The Aerospace Alliance Summit at Sandestin in Baytowne, Florida on September 16, 2011, The Teal Group will be aided by its supporting partners, Gulf Coast Alliance for Economic & Environmental Resilience and Gulf Coast Reporter's League.

"My presentation will look at the remarkable growth rates enjoyed by aviation markets over the last decade, and at the industry's current status as a safe haven in a world of economic turmoil," said Teal Group Vice President of Analysis Richard Aboulafia, who will be the prime analytical speaker for the unique, one-day meeting, on Friday, September 16. Teal Group is an aerospace and defense analysis firm based in Fairfax, VA.  It provides competitive intelligence to industry and government worldwide.

"I'll look at risks to a civil or military downturn, and at upside opportunities too," said Mr. Aboulafia. "Particular segments covered will include large jetliners, business aircraft, rotorcraft, combat aircraft, military transports and tankers, and broader defense spending trends. In addition to growth trends in these segments, I'll look at the particular players, strategies, and likely winners and losers. I'll also discuss industry dynamics, and changes in global sourcing."

"The Aerospace Alliance is a 501c6 whose mission is to promote our region as the world's fourth largest aerospace and aviation manufacturing corridor," said Jason S. Dean, Ph.D. "Our members are the States of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida's Great Northwest."

Other participants in the summit include the chief state economic developer from Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, the Florida Lt. Governor, and regional business leaders from aerospace and aviation corporations such as Boeing, ATK, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, MRO Specialists Aeroframe, and GE Aviation.

Individuals and organizations interested in attending The Aerospace Alliance event taking place Sept. 15-16, at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort are urged to contact to register via the link below.
