Brings Number Of CAE Sims In Latin America To 19

CAE has inaugurated a new Airbus A350 CAE 7000XR Series full-flight simulator to meet the pilot training needs of Latin American carriers and to support a specific long-term training agreement concluded in FY15.

The new training equipment is located at CAE's training centre in Sao Paulo, Brazil and brings the total number of full-flight simulators to 14 in Brazil and to 19 across CAE's training network in Latin America.

"We are delighted to bring the latest technology to our centre and to offer our long-standing partners and regional customers state-of-the-art training equipment", said Nick Leontidis, CAE's Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions.

"Latin America is a fast-growing civil aviation market and our training centres in the region are equipped to train the thousands of new pilots that will be needed over the next years by our airline customers."
