ALPA Union Sees 27-year United Vet Take the Help as Chair

The United Airlines Master Executive Council (MEC) of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) elected Captain Anne Worster to serve as the pilot group’s next chair. Worster brings 27 years of experience as a United Airlines pilot, based today out of Washington, D.C., on the Boeing 777. She has gained experience in the game working as the MEC's current vice chair and first officer representative for Council 11, as well as chair and captain representative-elect for the Master Executive Council.

Joby Aviation has announced a definitive agreement with Southern California local Clay Lacy Aviation to install the area's first electric air taxi charger at John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County, CA. Joby’s own in-house Global Electric Aviation Charging System (GEACS) will be included as part of Clay Lacy’s planned $100 million redevelopment of its FBO terminal, targeted to open in the middle of 2025. ADS-B Tracking Platforms Showed The Helicopter's Last Location About 4 Nautical Miles East/Northeast Of Hammonton Municipal Airport 

On December 19, 2023, about 2004 eastern standard time, an American Eurocopter Corp. AS350B2 helicopter, N606HD, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Hammonton, New Jersey. The pilot and a videographer were fatally injured. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 electronic news gathering (ENG) flight. The helicopter Callsign "Chopper 6" was owned and operated by US Helicopters, Inc. and was assigned to WPVI – TV (branded on air as 6ABC), which served the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area as an ENG asset.
