Legacy 500 to Highlight Embraer Executive Jets' Participation At LABACE

Airplane Making Its Brazilian Debut At The Show

Embraer Executive Jets’ Legacy 500 will make its first public debut in Brazil during the 10th annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE), 14-16 August, at the Congonhas Airport (CGH), in São Paulo. The new business jet, which is scheduled to enter service in the first half of 2014, made its global debut last May in Geneva, Switzerland and will be displayed later this year at NBAA 2013 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas in October.  It is the first midsize jet with full fly-by-wire technology for complete envelope protection and improved comfort, efficiency and reduced pilot workload resulting in even more safety.

The Company will present its Latin American market forecast as well as program updates during a press conference on Tuesday, August 13th, at 15:00, in the Santos Dumont room at the exhibition site at Congonhas Airport.

"Traditionally, LABACE is the premier venue for announcing the latest industry news for the region which makes it an ideal for the debut of the Legacy 500, a jet that establishes a new paradigm for its category by anticipating the needs and technologies the market is now demanding,” said Marco Túlio Pellegrini, Senior Vice President Operations & COO, Embraer Executive Jets. "This will be the most extensive participation of Embraer Executive Jets since the first LABACE gathering in 2004, which illustrates our strong position in this competitive market."

In addition to the Legacy 500, the Company will also have on static display the Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Legacy 650 and the Lineage 1000, the largest and most luxurious jet in the Embraer Executive Jets seven-aircraft portfolio.
