Integration Of Training Classes And Events Already
Underway
Pan Am International Flight Academy ("Pan Am") announced
Wednesday that it has acquired Miami-based Aeroservice Aviation
Center, LLC ("Aeroservice"). Under terms of the agreement,
Pan Am purchased all of Aeroservice's training and simulator
assets. The current Aeroservice simulators will be integrated
into Pan Am's system and will be positioned where they most
effectively serve its customer base. Aeroservice's Miami
training center will become Pan Am's seventh training facility and
will operate under Pan Am's Part 142 certificate.
"Pan Am is pleased to have acquired Aeroservice, who has been a
respected training provider since 1976. Combining Aeroservice's
assets into Pan Am's extensive training resources will further
enhance the training solutions we provide to our customers. In
addition, this acquisition re-affirms our commitment to being a
leader in providing training services to the aviation and airline
industry," said Vito Cutrone, President and Chief Executive
Officer.
Cutrone added that Pan Am will ensure a smooth transition on
behalf of Aeroservice customers. To do so, Aeroservice training
events have been integrated into Pan Am's scheduling system and Pan
Am has assigned a dedicated account executive to manage the needs
and requests of its valued customers.
Headquartered in Miami, FL, Pan Am has facilities in Miami, FL;
Cincinnati, OH; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; Memphis, TN;
Minneapolis, MN; Europe and Asia. The company was was established
by Pan American World Airways in 1980 in Miami, FL and continued to
operate after the airline ceased operations in December 1991.
It has operated independently since December 1992.
