Southern Sky Aviation Expands Into Atlanta Area

Opens A New Location At DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK)

Birmingham, AL private aviation company Southern Sky Aviation has opened a new office at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK), marking its entrance into the Atlanta, GA market.

AL.com reports that the new location will offer charter and AOG maintenance services. It will continue full-service maintenance, charter, brokerage and management services from its Birmingham office.

The expansion will mean four new jobs at KPDK. We are so pleased to have a new home at PDK where we can bring our top-notch services to a new market and increase our company footprint in an impactful way,” said Southern Sky Aviation CEO Bo Andrews. The company has been planning the expansion for some time, but waited for just the right opportunity, he said.

The Atlanta operation will be led by 14-year private aviation veteran Steven Dunn. Barry Lambert will be the director of finance-aircraft operations.

Allie Ray will serve as the director of charter sales and marketing, while Zack Wallace will act as charter manager.
