EVS Compatible With Video-Enabled Proline 21 Flight Decks
EASA has granted an STC to Max-Viz for the installation of
Max-Viz-EVS-1500 Infra-red Enhanced Vision Systems on European
Registered Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 Series aircraft
as well as the King Air C90GT and GTi. Hawker Beechcraft King Airs
join other technologically advanced high performance aircraft, such
as Agusta Helicopters, in offering Max-Viz-EVS-1500 as a standard
factory or aftermarket option to airframes registered throughout
the EASA jurisdiction.
The Installation Kit for the EVS-1500 on King Air aircraft
includes all components, (including IR Sensor and video capable EFB
Display) and is applicable to aircraft equipped with video enabled
Proline21. Retrofits to aircraft with certified video capable
Multi-Function displays such as the Garmin G1000/G600/G500/G500H,
Universal 890R, Avidyne R9 or a stand-alone video displays are
available on request.
Also included in the kit on the flight deck is a standard
connection for Video Capable Electronic Flight Bags as well as a
video distribution amplifier to enable distribution of the EVS
image on up to four compatible passenger cabin entertainment
displays.
The Max-Viz EVS-1500 features pilot selectable optical (no
resolution loss) dual fields of view—wide and narrow. A field
of view switch is installed on the Premier style yoke and on the
pedestal mounted EVS control panel.
Available exclusively from Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer
Support (GCS), the EVS-1500 Installation Kit can be procured and
installed by any King Air qualified service center.
