New Year Brings New Jobs For Three
Dallas Airmotive has announced three new appointments to the
company's Rolls Royce engine programs.
Max Allen has been named Program Director,
Rolls-Royce at the company’s Forest Park facility in Dallas,
TX. Allen will be responsible for day-to-day management of
Rolls-Royce engine programs including planning, administration and
overall profit and loss. Dallas Airmotive Forest Park is a
Rolls-Royce authorized repair and overhaul service facility for the
Spey and Tay.
Allen joined Dallas Airmotive in 2004 as Director Engine
Operations at the Forest Park facility. He has considerable
experience in the aviation industry most recently with General
Electric’s aircraft engine overhaul facility at Dallas Love
Field where he served as Manager of Quality and Engineering and as
Interim Plant Manager.
Allen is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Steve Lunde has been appointed Rolls-Royce
Regional Engine Manager for the Western United States. Lunde will
be responsible for sales to Rolls-Royce Spey and Tay operators of
Gulfstream aircraft. In addition, Lunde will handle sales for Pratt
& Whitney Canada PW306A engines used on the Gulfstream G200,
and Honeywell 36 series APUs.
Lunde has more than 20 years of industry experience in sales and
maintenance including work for Gulfstream Aerospace Long Beach and
the Jet Center, Van Nuys. He most recently worked for Garrett
Aviation at Los Angeles International Airport as a regional sales
manager. Lunde holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license and a
Private Pilot license. He is certified as a Six Sigma Green
Belt.
Lunde will be based in California, according to the company, and
will service the Western US.
Jim Zarvos has been named director of Sales for
Rolls-Royce Engine Programs. Zarvos will be responsible for all
Dallas Airmotive sales efforts to North American operators of
Rolls-Royce Spey and Tay engines including Business and General
Aviation, Government/Military and Commercial Airline markets.
Zarvos will also direct sales for the PW306A engine used on the
Gulfstream G200. In addition to Spey, Tay and PW306A powered jets,
Zarvos will manage sales for APUs associated with these
aircraft.
Prior to this promotion, Zarvos had been serving as Program
Director Rolls-Royce at Dallas Airmotive’s Forest Park
facility in Dallas, TX. He has more than 21 years experience in the
aviation industry including work in program management, customer
service, sales, and executive management for leading aviation
companies including Aviall, Midcoast Aviation and Elliott Aviation.
Zarvos joined Dallas Airmotive in 2003 as Director of Customer
Service.
Zarvos will be based at Dallas Airmotive’s Grapevine, TX
headquarters facility.
