Note: FAA AD 2005-23-07 Amdt 39-14365 refers.

Compliance: Within 30 days after the effective date of this Directive. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 13 December 2005.

Background: The Federal Aviation Administration has advised that following a fuel system safety review conducted by the aeroplanes manufacturer, Boeing, an AFM amendment to prohibit the resetting of a tripped fuel pump circuit breaker was necessary to prevent possible ignition sources within the fuel tank.
