Alt-Metal Band Plays Concert At 37,000 Feet

Do We Have Any Korn Fans In The Audience?

You may not like the music (then again, who out there is reading ANN for our music reviews?) but you have to admire the venue. The alternative band Korn is out with its latest new DVD this month. It's a concert set... filmed onboard an aircraft at 37,000 feet.

"We used battery-powered practice amps, David [Silveria] played this little drum set for a kid," singer Jonathan Davis told MTV.com. "We could only set up in the bulkhead, so I had to hide behind some seats and I sang through the PA of the airplane."

Korn played the concert last November, for contest winnders from Europe, as well as US troops returning home from Iraq.

"It was our first US show without Head [guitarist Brian Welch], we were just happy to be playing again and it was a really good show," Davis said. "It's where we debuted [songs from the band's latest LP, "See You on the Other Side"] and it was shot in hi-def."

The DVD of the concert is called "Korn: Live On The Other Side," and it'll be released June 20th.
