Duncan Aviation Ready To Install More Winglets On Citation Sovereigns

Second Installation Scheduled To Begin In September

After delivering an industry-first earlier this summer, Duncan Aviation says it is ready to install on Citation Sovereign aircraft the FAA-Approved Transitional Winglet from Winglet Technology LLC.  A second winglet installation is scheduled to begin in mid-September.

On June 20, 2017, the FAA approved the STC certifying the installation of Transitional Winglets on Sovereign aircraft. This winglet upgrade provides Sovereign owners with greater operational flexibility and performance benefits, such as increased speed at altitude, increased range /payload, improved time-to-climb, and more.

In support of the certification process, Duncan Aviation installed the wing reinforcement on the Sovereign aircraft along with the winglet attach structure and Transitional Winglets and the aircraft was delivered in late May.

Duncan Aviation is authorized by Winglet Technology to install the Transitional Winglets on Citation X and Sovereign aircraft.

“The Citation Sovereign is a solid aircraft with known reliability,” says Nick Huskey, Citation Service Sales Rep with Duncan Aviation. “Performance gains that come with the winglet upgrade are impressive. The increased speed and range absolutely speak for themselves and, of course, there is that ramp presence that is certain to turn heads.”
