More Upgrades: OMF Aircraft Announces Additions to its Sr. Management Team

OMF tells ANN that "strong senior management is an essential element in the success of any organization. In a company like OMF, which has ambitious growth plans, effective management is all the more important."

Therefore, OMF Aircraft is pleased to announce several additions to its management team.

"With the opening of our new facility in Three Rivers, OMF Aircraft is poised for significant growth. The company needs an expanded management team," said Paul Costanzo, President of OMF Aircraft. "These individuals bring a wealth of aviation and management skills and experience to their new positions. They are assets to OMF Aircraft, and we're pleased to welcome them to the team."

New members of OMF's senior management team include:

Ian Boud - Executive Vice-President
Ian is a Chartered Accountant, the Canadian equivalent of a CPA, and is responsible for finance and administrative functions at OMF Aircraft. He has served as a financial manager for all companies in the Stinnes Group since the early 1980s, and spent seven years as an auditor and trustee with Price Waterhouse prior to joining the Stinnes Group. He currently acts as the Chairman of the Board of OMF Aircraft.

Christian Ouimet - VP Operations
Ouimet is responsible for all manufacturing and assembly operations for Symphony aircraft, including production scheduling, master planning, material provisioning and logistics, inventory and resource management and facilities management. He brings to this position extensive manufacturing experience, primarily gained through 17 years spent at Pratt & Whitney Canada.

Jacques Simard - Director, Customer Service & Support
At OMF, Simard provides after-sale support to customers and their maintenance facilities, offering technical support and handling warranty claims. An accomplished pilot and licensed mechanic, Simard was President of Air Alma, which operated and maintained fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, for over 10 years.

Daniel Mercier - Director, Supply Chain Management
Mercier has responsibility for planning and purchasing materials needed in the manufacturing process, as well as shipping and receiving. He is an experienced procurement and contract specialist, with 15 years at Pratt & Whitney Canada. He was also involved in two successful start-ups, and has extensive experience in ERP systems.

Louis Coude - Manager, Quality
At OMF, Coude's responsibilities include setting quality standards and inspection procedures. A highly experienced licensed mechanic, he gained important experience in his 18 years with Bell Helicopter Textron Canada, most of which was spent in pre-flight operations.

Jocelyn Blais - Manager, Finance
Blais handles financial functions at OMF, including accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting and budgeting. A Certified Management Accountant (CMA), he is an experienced cost accountant and financial information systems specialist who spent seven years with Bell Helicopter Textron.

OMF Aircraft manufactures and markets the Symphony 160, a two-place, high wing, single engine aircraft. Two other aircraft are in development - the diesel/Jet-A powered Symphony 135D and the four-place Symphony 250 (formerly known as the Symphony 4).
