Announces Winners Of 2015 Airline Reliability Performance Awards
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft on Monday celebrated with airlines and suppliers who over the past year have achieved exceptional performance in their respective areas of operations. The fourteen winners of the 2015 Airline Reliability Performance Awards and the two winners of the 2015 In-Service Supplier Top Achievement Recognition (STAR) Awards - all presented by Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's Customer Services organization - were honoured in a special ceremony during Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's 2016 All Operators Conference and Tradeshow being held in Dallas, Texas.
The Airline Reliability Performance Awards recognize the operators of Bombardier CRJ Series regional jets and Q Series turboprops who achieve the highest rates of dispatch reliability. Widerøes Flyverskap received the award for the ninth consecutive year and Jazz Aviation repeated last year's achievement and won in three categories.
Two suppliers - UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins - were recognized with in-Service STAR Awards. To be considered for this award, a supplier must have scored at least 90 per cent in areas deemed most important by Bombardier's customers such as product performance, airline support and customer focus.
"While we build superior reliability into our aircraft, keeping them flying on schedule day-in and day-out under the relentless pressure of highly competitive airline operations is a significant achievement," said Todd Young, Vice President and general Manager, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "I congratulate all our award winners and their teams for their outstanding efforts this past year. Both award categories reflect the close co-operation between Bombardier, operators and suppliers."
The All Operators Conference and Tradeshow is an interactive and informative event designed to promote Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Customer Services' partnership with CRJ, Q Series and C Series aircraft customers, suppliers and partners as well as industry affiliates. The event showcases key operational achievements and product updates creating a unique opportunity for all participants to network with airlines, industry experts and program suppliers worldwide.
