Topping our program today is the announcement the United States Senate has confirmed Steven Dickson as the next Administrator of the FAA.
Tom Patton fills us in... The Airplane Factory--fresh off their marathon non-stop journey from California to Wisconsin in a Sling 4 -- had multiple announcements at Airventure today. Pipistrel is making a name for itself in the E-VTOL Urban Air Mobility market, and is considered one of the leading candidates for the Uber Elevate program. They have a 25-percent scale model of the E-VTOL 801 aircraft on display at their booth, they’re also hosting a special guest this week. Earlier today -- ANN’s Sophie Hurlock got an opportunity to speak with the amazing Riley Spiedel-- a fourteen year old pilot who took a solo cross country from California to Maine earlier this summer. Avilution is expanding the types of aircraft for which it is building its unique Un-Panel.
