Clay Lacy Raises $24,000 For Homeless Students In Orange County
Clay Lacy Aviation helped raise $24,000 for homeless students in Orange County at the second annual FLOCK Dinner Gala on August 19. Clay Lacy donated flights aboard the company’s fleet of business jets during a live auction at the event. FLOCK (Fullerton’s Love of Orange County Kids) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to end the cycle of child homelessness in Orange County.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help homeless students with shoes, clothing, prescription eyeglasses, school supplies, laptops, sports equipment, and college scholarships. “These are the items the students request to help improve their daily lives,” said FLOCK co-founder Angela Joe. “These children are without regular daily meals or shelter and this is the last thing a child should have to worry about.”
“Angela, Jennifer and the dedicated team at FLOCK do an outstanding job, helping some amazing kids here in Orange County,” said Scott Cutshall, VP Brand Development, Clay Lacy Aviation. “We are honored to support FLOCK’S work and see these young adults achieve their dreams.”
“We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support at our fundraiser,” Angela Joe said. “Thanks to partners like Clay Lacy Aviation, we raised $70,928 for our homeless McKinney Vento Students in the Fullerton Public School District.”
