FAA-Conforming HondaJet Will Make First Public Appearance At Oshkosh

Honda Aircraft Company Schedules Special Event At AirVenture

An FAA-conforming Honda Jet will make its first public appearance during AirVenture at Oshkosh this year.

Honda Aircraft Company says that the airplane will be featured at a special event on Monday, July 29 at 9:30 a.m. in Phillips 66 Plaza to celebrate the arrival of the HondaJet. Honda Aircraft Company President and CEO Michimasa Fujino and EAA Chairman of the Board Jack Pelton will also share remarks during the program. This will be an exciting event for all in attendance and among enthusiasts who passionately follow the HondaJet.

Honda Aircraft Company is one of more than 775 exhibitors participating in EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013, which will be held July 29 – August 4. In addition to a static display of the HondaJet, visitors to the Honda Aircraft Company exhibit will have the opportunity to see other Honda innovations, including daily demonstrations of ASIMO, Honda’s advanced humanoid robot.

Honday Aircraft company says its HondaJet is "the world’s most advanced light jet, and its design incorporates advanced technologies and concepts." The company says the airplane's Over-The-Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM) configuration, natural-laminar flow wing and fuselage nose, and composite fuselage were developed from long-term research activities.
