Is Airline "A La Carte" Pricing A Consumer Plus? With Amadeus
North America's Robert Buckman
Today, ANN's Paul Plack talks with
Robert Buckman, aviation futurist and director of airline
distribution strategy for Miami-based Amadeus North America.
Amadeus is a company which administers much of the information
technology infrastructure used to book airline flights.
Buckman predicts the recent move by most airlines to unbundle
services into a list of ala carte fees will eventually be seen as a
consumer advantage
