New Bombardier Challenger 300 Sim To Enter Service 4Q/05

The first Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft simulator manufactured by FlightSafety International, is scheduled to enter service at the company’s Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington Delaware Learning Center in the fourth quarter of 2005.

With the addition of the Challenger 300 simulator, FlightSafety will now offer simulator training on virtually all current Bombardier built business and regional aircraft. Once installed, the Challenger 300 simulator will bring FlightSafety’s fleet of Bombardier aircraft simulators to 50.

The advanced visual and motion systems on this full-flight simulator will be state-of-the-art, creating the highest level of fidelity. The simulator will receive FAA Level “D” certification following its installation at the Learning Center. Customers will also benefit from FlightSafety’s MatriX interactive training capabilities, including the SimVu debriefing systems.

The Challenger 300 simulator features the VITAL-9 visual system. It will use the new SkyLight 1500 projector for a new level of brilliance and clarity from the system’s VITAL-9 image generator.

FlightSafety offers training on most Bombardier Learjet, Challenger, Global Express, CRJ and Q series aircraft. It is available at the company’s Learning Centers in Wilmington, Delaware; Cincinnati, Ohio; Tucson, Arizona; Seattle-Tacoma, Washington; Wichita, Kansas; Dallas, Texas; West Palm Beach, Florida; Houston, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Memphis, Tennessee: and in Toronto and Montreal, Canada.
