Altitude Angel Integrates SarStuff With Cloud

Updates Provide Accurate Airspace Data- Faster

Altitude Angel, Unified Traffic Management technology provider, released news that its Search and Rescue flight planning tool, SarStuff, will now integrate its GuardianUTM Cloud platform to provide flight operations managers with the information they need to help save lives.

SarStuff is a plan and tasking tool predominantly used by Search and Rescue teams, such as police and fire departments that are integrating drones into their operations.

Working the cloud platform into its planning module will provide accurate, up-to-date airspace data, eliminating the need to use third party mobile apps to carry out airspace checks – which is slow and unreliable. With Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM Cloud platform, the planning managers will be able to assign drone teams to safe operation locations.

“Search and rescue services have time and time again proved the value of using drones in their operations and in doing so have saved countless lives,” said Jack Drinkwater, Altitude Angel, Business Development Manager. “I’m extremely proud to see Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM Cloud integrated with the SarStuff platform to make Search and Rescue operations faster and safer and as a result, help save more lives.”

Mike Desmond, SarStuff, CEO, added: “In Search and Rescue operations, seconds can mean the difference between life and death.  Having the best airspace data from Altitude Angel at our operators’ fingertips will allow us to plan and begin executing flights quicker and safer than ever before.  This partnership will undoubtedly help save more lives.”
