CQNet, UAS Operations Portal Launched

While the drone industry is built on cutting edge technology, the methods used for its operations are often outdated. Consortiq is giving the sector the innovative safety-led update it needs to react to the changing demands of the market with its new, IoT inspired flight planning portal, CQNet. Using real time data and analytics, it replaces inefficient and inaccurate spreadsheets, logbooks and other physical tools to transform safety management and reduce risk within drone operations. The foremost drone consultant will be launching its problem-solving software at the AUVSI XPONENTIAL trade show in Dallas, Texas this May.

David Walters, Software Development Manager at Consortiq, will be running a series of demonstrations at the premier drone event, running between the 8th and 11th of May. With a focus towards the media industry and the emergency services, the drone technology expert will be running two sessions daily at 11:00am and 2:00pm local time, highlighting CQNet’s applications for each targeted sector respectively.

Bryan McKernan, newly appointed as US Director of Operations at Consortiq will also be present at the show. With his extensive knowledge on Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) policy gained through Marine Corps Installations during his 20 years as a Marine Corps Aviator. Former Pentagon staff officer, Bryan, looks forward to introducing visitors at the leading unmanned event to Consortiq’s latest release.

Together with drone services platform, Altitude Angel and technology leaders, IBM, CQNet has been created by the most innovative minds in the sector, combining each company's area of expertise to create the advanced flight planning and operational tool. Further development stages see the foremost drone consultant company also working closely with IBM Watson to introduce Artificial Intelligence to the software in future releases.
