Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Get Thee to Peachtree!
Next weekend, September
6 and 7, would be a great time to attend the Great Georgia Airshow.
Why? Because that's when they're having it!
Gates are open both days at 9AM, for oglers, fans, and buyers of
aircraft stuff. There will be a LOT of performers, too -- shows
start at 1 (with fly-bys an hour earlier).
The show is at Falcon Field Airport (KFFC), and advance tickets
are $10 for adults. Kids 6-12 are half that, in advance. Little
kids are free. (At the gate, prices go up by $3, $2, and 0,
respectively.)
This fantastic charity event is produced by the Kiwanis Club of
Peachtree City and the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.
All food concessionaires are charities or school groups.
On Saturday night, there's a Gala—Dinner dance, orchestra,
and silent auction, with an open beer, wine and margarita bar.
(Tickets for this are $50.)
