Mesa Airlines Take Top Ranking Among US Regional Airlines

Third Consecutive Year In The Number One Spot

Phoenix, AZ-based Mesa Air Group, which operates as US Airways Express in Charlotte, NC and Phoenix, AZ, as United Express in Chicago, IL and Dulles, VA, and as go!, Hawaii’s low cost inter-island carrier, has been named the top US regional airlines for the third consecutive year by the U.S. DOT.

According to the US Department of Transportation Air Travel Consumer Report, Mesa has been the number one regional airline in on-time arrivals, completed flights and has the lowest number of passenger complaints, for the last three consecutive calendar years; the “Triple Crown” of airline excellence.

“This recognition is tangible evidence of the company’s strong operational performance and reflects Mesa’s continued commitment to its airline partners, United Airlines and US Airways, and our passengers," said Mesa CEO Jonathan Ornstein. "We thank all of our people and business partners for helping us achieve this fantastic performance.”

“Mesa’s outstanding operating record combined with its low cost structure positions us well to compete for growth in this rapidly changing industry," said EVP and COO Paul Foley. "We are very proud of our team of nearly 1,800 dedicated professionals. This achievement is a result of their hard work and daily focus on the details.”

Mesa Airlines currently operates 370 daily system departures to 74 cities, 32 states, Mexico and the District of Columbia.
