Consultant Sues Producers Of 'Sully' Movie

Says He Has Not Been Compensated For His Services

A lawsuit has been filed against the producers of the biographical drama "Sully" by a consultant who says he has not been paid for his services.

Pilot Scott Heger says he had an oral contract with the producers of "Sully" to be sure that the airplane used in the film was a true representation on the A320 that famously ditched in the Hudson River. As you most likely know by now, all of the passengers and crew survived that accident, and the flight crew was lauded for the "Miracle on the Hudson."

Vulture.com reports that Heger claims to have had an "oral contract" with producer Tim Moore for the consulting, and that he's owed $250,000 for his six months work. His company, Blair Adhesive Products, also worked on the film. There were three contracts on paper for that work that he and the producers signed, according to the report.

Heger has named Warner Bros. Entertainment, Kiki Tree Pictures and Moore personally in the suit. He says in the complaint that he was responsible for the "acting" of the "main character" ... the airplane ... which was central to the film. The producers have yet to comment on the suit.

The movie stars Tom Hanks and Capt. Sullenberger.
