Will Be Displayed At NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum At
DAL
Robert D. Taylor, chairman and chief executive officer of
Executive AirShare, announced Monday the Kansas City, MO-based
fractional aircraft ownership company has taken delivery of its
first Embraer Phenom 100 entry level jet aircraft.
Executive AirShare has 44 Phenom 100 and six Phenom 300 aircraft
on order, making it the only established fractional aircraft
ownership company to offer both Embraer light jets. The company
anticipates that they will be the first to operate the Phenom 100
aircraft under FAA Part 135 and the first established fractional to
operate under Part 91(k).
The company's first Phenom 100 will be on display at the
National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation
Regional Forum, to be held this Thursday, April 9, at the Business
Jet Center at Dallas Love Field (DAL).
Executive AirShare President and Chief Operating Officer Keith
D. Plumb and Director of Operations Adam Letts traveled to Embraer
headquarters at Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil to conduct a series of
inspections and an acceptance flight.
The aircraft received its certificate of airworthiness from the
FAA and Executive AirShare took delivery of the aircraft last week.
Plumb and Letts flew the aircraft back to the United States, where
it has entered the Executive AirShare fleet as a demonstration
aircraft. A video diary of their mission is available here.
"The Phenom 100 aircraft offers exceptional comfort and
performance, and trip costs that are similar to those of our King
Air C90B and King Air 350 aircraft," said Taylor. "We are proud to
offer a service with a new aircraft that is not available through
any other existing fractional program."
Executive AirShare has received approval to fly the Phenom 100
under single-pilot operations for fractional flights if the
shareowner chooses, enabling owners to place an extra passenger in
the co-pilot's seat and reducing overnight crew expenses.
