Bartolini Air is the first operator of the CAP 10C NG

UPRT Training Is Now Possible in Poland

Bartolini Air, located in Poland, has become an operator of the legendary CAP-10C NG aerobatic plane (file photo). EASA regulations state each future airline pilot must complete a course in aircraft upset prevention and recovery. UPRT has been introduced in order to prevent the chief cause of contemporary plane crashes.

“The new regulations have presented a few challenges for training organizations, one of which is selecting an appropriate aircraft for UPRT. Quite quickly it turned out that the CAP 10C NG was perfect for the job. When we learned that the aircraft would be modernised and its production would resume– and by such a reputable manufacturer as Robin Aircraft – we had no doubts that this was the only right choice. Bartolini Air has been setting new trends in pilot training for years, and this makes us even prouder that we are the world’s first operator of the CAP 10C NG version,” says Bartomiej Walas, CEO of Bartolini Air Group.

The first CAP 10C NG aircraft arrived in Lodz at the end of June, which made Bartolini Air its first operator in the world. The CAP 10C NG is an aerobatic aircraft thus has capabilities to allow it to safely conduct upsets that could be life-threatening in another aircraft type. Another factor that makes it a great trainer is that it has two pilot seats positioned side-by-side, which mimics airline cockpit configuration and allows for better communications.
