Clay Lacy Aviation Completes New Hangar Facility At Boeing Field

Clay Lacy Aviation (CLA) has completed a new 40,000 square-foot hangar facility with adjoining office space at its Boeing Field (BFI) facility in Seattle. Designed to house a combination of managed and tenant aircraft, the expansion includes 7,500 square feet of office space and 7,500 square feet of shop area.

The new facility features a spacious lobby, modern pilot lounges and shower/locker facilities, a kitchenette and additional workspace for maintenance personnel. Currently, CLA BFI is home to the corporate offices of Boeing Business Jets and its existing ramp area can accommodate aircraft as large as a Boeing 747.

"We are very excited to complete a new hangar facility to accommodate our growing management and charter fleet," said CLA founder and CEO Clay Lacy. "Our entire team is committed to providing complete fixed base operator services and passenger amenities to meet the needs of our customers."

CLA's BFI facility provides premium line service, quick-turn refueling, a comfortable passenger lounge and full on-site catering services. Among its Van Nuys Airport, BFI and three satellite locations, CLA operates 65 corporate jets ranging from the Lear 35 and Gulfstream IV to the Boeing Business Jet.

Founded in 1968 by Clay Lacy, CLA operates one of the largest fleets of managed and charter aircraft in the world. CLA's fixed base operator facilities at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles and Boeing Field in Seattle offer aircraft charter, management, sales, maintenance, avionics, and aircraft interior and completion services, with additional locations in Denver, Colo.; Orange County and West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Hartford, Conn.
