Aero-Legend Bob Hoover Guest For 1000th Aero-Cast!

ANN Hits Historic Milestone... And Plans For Future

Aero-News Network (ANN), the aviation industry’s premier online daily aviation aerospace news resource, is marking a significant milestone this week with the premiere of its 1,000th podcast, (called ‘Aero-Casts’ in the aero-world) scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2007. This achievement features an interview with 85-year old Bob Hoover, considered one of the foremost aviators in the world and whose personal trademark is a wide-brimmed straw hat and wide smile.

The organization is also implementing programs and projects for what it calls 'ANN 10.0', its roadmap for the next decade, including providing extensive daily news coverage for the world’s largest air show, AirVenture 2007 in Oshkosh, WI this July.

Other projects include releasing an entirely new SportPlane Resource Guide (the “bible” of the sport aviation business, currently estimated to be some 1400 pages when the first of two volumes goes to press later this year) and providing extensive news and information services for Microsoft’s new Flight Simulator website.

The Aero-News Network debuted in 1998, and from the start was way ahead of its time in terms of presenting aviation industry news – in fact, any industry news – 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with immediate, up-to-date information on a wide variety of areas, including military flying, the commercial industry, general aviation, and aerospace.

ANN fast became one of the most trusted sources for inside information on the aviation and aerospace industry, often cited by other media, including CNN, FoxNews, CBS and many others.

"ANN is first and foremost," said Founder and Publisher James R. "Zoom" Campbell, "the work of some very dedicated folks who put their hearts and souls into promoting and protecting the aviation community."

"We have an unparalleled commitment to safety, consumer activism, Aero-education, and Aero-entertainment," says Campbell. "We’re topical, timely, and presented by experts in their field."

ANN’s e-newsletter, Propwash, is delivered to several thousands of military, corporate, and private aviation desktops daily worldwide. Its audience includes non-pilots with an interest in aviation, to military fighters, to Fortune 500 CEOs -- and everyone in between.

Every year, more than 11,000 news stories, photos, Aero-casts, features and columns are published by ANN, while at least three audio news programs are produced every business day.
