Epic Flight Academy, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, has signed a deal with Polk State College to allow Epic AMT graduates to receive transfer credit hours.

Students must have matriculated from Epic's Part 147 Aircraft Mechanic Program, and submit a transfer of credits request along with their FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate to Polk state. Once approved, students will obtain 30 credit hours classified as courses performed to obtain an associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Administration. Women in Aviation International has successfully held their 33rd annual conference, once again celebrating and boosting women in aviation. This year, the group took to the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, from March 17-19 for a slate of speakers, exhibitors, and educational sessions. Once through with the education, the conference concluded with scholarship awards, and inductions into the Pioneer Hall of Fame. Sporty's has released their E6B Flight Computer app on the Macintosh platform, making it a one-stop, multi-platform purchase that will grant access to every device in the Apple ecosystem. Users will get a pilot-coded, pilot-designed app, with an "intuitive menu layout and plain English explanations for each function", a far cry from the average, unsupported, no-name E6B drek that can be found everywhere online. The interface has been designed for a consistent user experience across all systems, retaining as much as possible between iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
