Massachusetts Aviation Director To Step Down In July

Plans To 'Seek New Opportunities' In Aviation

Massachusetts Aviation Director Chris Willenborg has announced that he'll be leaving his position of Administrator of the MassDOT Aeronautics Division in July to seek new opportunities in the aviation industry.

“Over the past six years, I’ve had the honor and pleasure to serve as the last Executive Director of the former Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission and the first Administrator of the MassDOT Aeronautics Division,” said Willenborg.

Willenborg will remain as Administrator for the next three months as he works with Secretary Stephanie Pollack and her senior leadership team with the transition to a new Administrator of the Aeronautics Division. His final day will be July 31st, 2015.

"I would like to sincerely thank everyone for the strong support of the former Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission and MassDOT Aeronautics Division over the past six years. It has truly been an incredible journey and learning experience,” said Willenborg.
