No one can argue that
the sophistication of today's desktop PC flightsims is absolutely
staggering. Every time we take a look at the state of art in Flight
Sim tech, we walk with the feeling that the power on the desktop is
getting to be as accurate and as valuable to we flyers as the
commerical high-end gear was, just a few years (maybe months)
ago.
One of the more intriguing companies building realistic and
accurate aerodynamic models of exciting airplanes (including some
pretty interesting GA birds) has just joined the ANN Sponsor
Roster... with the added benefit that we now get to play with ALL
their toys... which means that those of you who have been getting a
busy signal every time you call ANN now know the reason. The
Editor-In-Chief is GOOFING off!
FlightSim Developers, more popularly known within the simulation
community as FSD, may be the premier producer of high quality
add-on aircraft for the latest version of Microsoft's Flight
Simulator. All aircraft are faithfully modeled to be accurate to
the real-world counterpart, with months of research going into each
project.
They offer a complete hangar of general aviation aircraft such
as the Piper Seneca V, Commander 115TC, Piper Navaho Panther and
the Piaggio Avanti (and others!), with new aircraft arriving
periodically (they are currently working on the Cessna 337).
Systems such as pressurization, oxygen, and other related systems
that are not modeled by Microsoft are included, where applicable.
For the best in further enhancing your MS FS experience, ANN
suggests you visit FSD today!
Disclosure Notice: In the interest of proper
disclosure, please be advised that if you folks do LOTS of
business with this sponsor, we get to keep playing with all their
toys.... (grin).
