AOPA Expo '04: Seminar Snapshot -- Sure About Your Compliance?

FAR Refresher

By ANN Correspondent John Ballantyne

What pilot doesn't want to spend a few minutes reviewing regulatory areas in which FAA is most active in writing violations, which regulations are easy to overlook and which omissions are likely to bite only if FAA goes through your logs?

Around 60 pilots heard these things and more from one of the top [if not the top] aviation attorney, John Yodice. Yodice is AOPA General Counsel and an AOPA Trustee, so Yodice and associates deal with the myriad of issues brought by AOPA members world wide.

Yodice well navigates the quagmire of tiny details that inevitably bog down legal discussions. Instead, he hits the important tops of the issues that are most likely to help pilots remain on the high side of FAA, The audience left confidently prepared to avoid running afoul of regulatory alligators in the ever-changing swamp of change.
