FlightSafety International Promotes Steve Gross

Named Senior Vice President, Commercial

FlightSafety International has promoted Steve Gross to Senior Vice President, Commercial. He is responsible for FlightSafety’s business aviation and regional airline training sales activities worldwide.

“Steve is most deserving of this promotion to Senior Vice President, Commercial. Our Customers around the world appreciate and value Steve’s ability to develop and tailor solutions that meet their specific needs,” said Bruce Whitman, Chairman, President & CEO.

He joined FlightSafety in 1996 and has held a number of positions with increasing responsibility since then.  Steve has served as Regional Marketing Manager for the northeastern United States, Regional Marketing Director, and Director, Worldwide Sales. He was most recently Vice President, Sales.

“Steve’s commitment and efforts to develop and lead our sales team has helped to establish and maintain FlightSafety’s leadership position in business aviation and regional airline training.” said David Davenport, Executive Vice President.

He graduated from Embry-Riddle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration and holds a Commercial Pilot license with an instrument rating. Steve held several technical support and sales positions with British Aerospace prior to joining FlightSafety.
