H145 Delivered To Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones

Aircraft Customized For The Sports Mogul

Dallas Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager Jerry Jones has chosen a new, customized H145 corporate helicopter as his go-to business transportation tool.

With the new H145, Jones and his leadership team will be able to commute swiftly to and from the team's headquarters complex at The Star, in Frisco, a suburban area north of Dallas, to AT&T Stadium in Arlington for games and other functions. Jones, his staff, and his family will be flying above the Dallas-Fort Worth region's traffic snarled highways and road construction projects.

"This helicopter will save us valuable time, and allow members of our organization to work and live more efficiently," said Jones. When Jones took delivery of the new helicopter, he told Airbus Helicopters Inc. employees: "I've been so excited in anticipation of getting this helicopter. I see the quality and the pride that you put into it. It says Dallas Cowboys."

With the helicopter's ability to take off and land from nearby heliports and bypass the busy airports required by fixed wing aircraft, the H145 will enable Jones and his management team to travel swiftly and more conveniently for business. The H145's patented Fenestron shrouded tail rotor design makes it the quietest helicopter now in production, an important attribute for passengers and the people living below.

"Jerry Jones made an outstanding choice when he selected the superb Airbus Helicopters H145 to be his aircraft and to be the official helicopter of the iconic Dallas Cowboys, America's Team," said Christopher Emerson, President of Airbus Helicopters Inc. "Our company has been the leader in U.S. helicopter sales for 15 consecutive years, and that is because of the commitment of our employees to not only build and support the helicopters but to take care of each customer. We're not just selling helicopters; we're providing a gratifying long-term experience."

Airbus Helicopters Inc. began operations in Grand Prairie in 1969. In the last decade, the company has sold nearly as many helicopters as the combined total of its principal competitors. Airbus Helicopters products are the market leaders for air medical transport, law enforcement, airborne tourism, and in the corporate and VIP segment. The company is a major supplier to the U.S. Army, the Coast Guard, and Customs and Border Protection. Texas Department of Public Safety is one of many state and local law enforcement agencies operating Airbus Helicopters products.
