"I saw it on impact. It's an awful sound. You're at 1,000 feet, and your first thought is, 'We're going to crash,' and the second thought was, 'We're still flying.'"

Source: Lee McEachron, a passenger on board a DeHavilland Beaver float plane that collided with a Cessna 150 over Renton, WA, Thursday. McEachron told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer the Cessna impacted the Beaver on its floats. Two people aboard the 150 -- a flight instructor and his student -- were killed in the mishap.
