Jet Aviation Acquires Enterprise Jet Center FBO At Houston Hobby

Business Is The 14th In Its Global Network

Jet Aviation has acquired the Enterprise Jet Center FBO at Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, adding the 14th FBO to its global network of premium aircraft service and support facilities. The facility becomes the sixth Jet Aviation FBO in the U.S., including Boston/Bedford, MA, Dallas, TX, Palm Beach, FL, St. Louis, MO, and Teterboro, NJ.

"North America is a key market for Jet Aviation and the acquisition of Enterprise Jet Center is an important step in our effort to expand our aircraft-service offerings to customers in the U.S.," said Dan Clare, Jet Aviation president.

Enterprise Jet Center opened its facility in 2006. Facility highlights include a 10,000-square foot drive-through canopy for aircraft, an 85,000-square foot clear-span hangar, a 30,000-square foot maintenance-only facility that is open 24 hours per day, and a 28,500-square foot terminal/office building.

"The state-of-the-art facilities, high-end customer amenities and service-oriented attitude make this operation a perfect fit for the Jet Aviation family. Houston is the fifth most-active U.S. business aviation airport and the facility now becomes Jet Aviation's second operation in Texas, including one at Dallas Love Field," said Gary Dempsey, president, Jet Aviation's U.S. Aircraft Services. "We welcome the 44 employees to our organization and we're delighted to have an additional location in the U.S. to serve our customers."

Enterprise Jet Center also is a certified FAA Repair Station (J89R218Y). Onsite technicians specialize in Falcons, Citations, King Airs, Hawkers, Learjets and Beechjets. Certified technicians perform routine aircraft servicing and major inspections and repairs. Staff technicians have experience in all aspects of aircraft maintenance for major corporations, individual aircraft owners and charter operators.

The value of the cash transaction was not disclosed.
