Corporate Angel Network Benefit Coming to Las Vegas This Week

Event Proceeds Support Flights for Cancer Patients to Specialized Treatment

On Wednesday, October 23, business aviation leaders will once again have the opportunity to attend the Fund an Angel Cocktail Reception during the 2019 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). The event, held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas, will feature a silent auction, networking with industry peers, and light refreshments. Event proceeds will benefit Corporate Angel Network’s (CAN) mission of using business aircraft to transport cancer patients to specialized treatment centers.

The event’s silent auction will include a wide selection of items, ranging from aviation essentials to unforgettable experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on items throughout the night, while connecting with fellow industry colleagues. As in previous years, auction items are listed on the event website and available to bid on in advance, so that those unable to attend the event may still participate in the auction.

"The cocktail reception is an excellent way to connect with everyone who supports CAN all year round," said Gina Russo, CAN’s Executive Director. We enjoy having the industry’s top leaders in one place to connect, while also supporting a great cause. More importantly, it is a great way for the CAN team to say, ‘Thank You,’ because without our generous partners, our mission would not be possible.”

CAN coordinates more than 250 patient flights each month and recently flew its 60,000th patient to treatment since its founding in 1981. Business jet travel makes it possible for patients, especially those in locations with minimal airline access, to travel to specialized treatment centers. The Fund an Angel Cocktail Reception raises critical funds for CAN to support patient cancer care access throughout the country.
