EASA Grants STC For 5-blade Propeller On Beech A36 RR250

Company Attributes Numerous Performance Improvements To New Prop

EASA has granted an STC (#10051683) to MT-Propeller for its next generation 5-blade scimitar composite propeller on the Beech A36 RR250 powered by the RR250 Engine.

According to the company, the propeller installation provides vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations; has bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for for superior erosion protection of the blades; reduces ground roll & takeoff distance over 50 ft obstacle by more than 10%; increases climb performance increased by 3%; increases cruise performance by 3-4 kts; weighs about nine pounds less than the original 3-blade metal propeller and; has FOD repairable blades.

All models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010 D "Landeplatz Laermschutz Verordnung" for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries

MT-Propeller holds over 200 STCs worldwide and OEM supplier for more than 90% of the European Aircraft Industry as well as 30% of the US Aircraft Industry with more than 16.000 propeller systems flying. In July 2013, the company's 50000th blade was shipped.
