Flying Smart’s New UK Base Supports Its Role As TBM Distributor

Opening Part Of Broader Business And General Aviation Event At London-Biggin Hill Airport

Flying Smart has opened a new operations base at London-Biggin Hill Airport in the U.K., which will serve the company’s role as a recently-appointed authorized distributor for Daher’s TBM family of very fast turboprop aircraft.

The facility’s inauguration was held in conjunction with the Business and General Aviation Day (BGAD) event being held at London-Biggin Hill Airport.

Flying Smart – a partner of the FlyingGROUP, an Antwerp-based European business aviation operator – has been designated as Daher’s TBM authorized distributor for the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Managed by David Fabry, a TBM pilot and owner, Flying Smart offers its clients the FlyingGROUP’s capabilities in all aspects of aircraft ownership and travel needs, along with its own expertise in TBM operations.

"We congratulate David on the opening of Flying Smart’s new headquarters, which will be the TBM sales and demonstration center in the British Isles," said Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice-President of Daher’s Airplane Business Unit. “We will follow David’s development with interest, as he is going to introduce new types of services that ultimately could be extended across our network.”

Fabry said the event at London-Biggin Hill Airport enables the UK business and general aviation sector to learn more about TBM aircraft, and hear initial details of Flying Smart’s services – with more information on its expansion plans to be disclosed in the coming months.

“We thank Daher for its support, and we look forward to evolving our business through the host of services we will offer to our customers,” Fabry said.
