Sterling Flight Training Adds Two More Archer TX Aircraft To Their Fleet

Fresh From Announcements About Their Partnerships With Purdue U, And Liberty U, Sterling Builds Up Their Flock

Sterling Flight Training has taken delivery of two new Piper Archer TXs, expanding their fleet of aircraft and training devices -- again.

These new aircraft represent Sterling's commitment to provide students access to the most reliable and latest technologically advanced training tools and aids. Each Archer TX is designed specifically for efficient, comfortable and safe single-engine flight training, and is outfitted with the G1000 NXi cockpit.

This investment comes as student enrollment continues to grow through Sterling's FAA-approved 141 in-house training courses and university partnerships with Purdue University Global and Liberty University's aviation degree programs.

Despite setbacks due to COVID-19, the aviation industry is still anticipating a strong demand and rebound for professional pilots when airlines recover from the pandemic. At minimum, the time it takes to qualify for an airline pilot job is 2-3 years so new students will be well-positioned to enter the industry just as hiring demands resume.

Sterling Flight Training, based in Jacksonville, offers programs from private pilot to professional pilot. The school is FAA and VA approved, and offers degrees through both in-house training programs and university affiliations.
